The 2013 World Tour of Camper Stores
Brussels, London, Glasgow, Santander, Barcelona, Istanbul, Korea, Tokyo, Santa Monica, Sao Paulo, New York, Madrid, Copenhagen. You can go around the world by visiting the most prominent Camper stores of 2013.
You could begin your tour in Europe, or more specifically in Brussels. There you will find our new store located in the shopping district of Royales Saint-Hubert, where you can write your New Year’s resolutions when visiting our new Postcard Shop. An innovative concept created by Martí Guixé, who this year also applied this new concept to the Camper stores in Philadelphia, Istanbul, Palma airport and Copenhagen.
Glasgow, Santander, and Istanbul exude the minimalist style of Tomás Alonso. The Galician designer exhibitor of the slow design, shaped these areas with simple adze tools, and he furnished them with pipes, wood and colour.

The eternal summer awaits you in the famous Spitalfields market, a creation by the duo Doshi Levien
If you continue your tour through London, the eternal summer awaits you in the famous Spitalfields market, a creation by the duo Doshi Levien made from Mediterranean elements and illustrious materials.
If you got lost in Barcelona, get yourself down to the Meeting Point Camper Store in the shopping mall of Diagonal Mar, also designed by Martí Guixé.
In Asia you will find new Camper stores in Korea, and in Tokyo where you can wonder at the elegance of Alfredo Häberli.
If you now head to Santa Monica Place in America, the world of Tokujin Yoshioka – one of Japan’s most respected designers – awaits you. Yoshioka looks to nature to find the essence of his creations.
Still in the USA, in the iconic Fifth Avenue of New York, you will be taken by the ethereal feel of Nendo, the studio awarded the Designer of the Year (Wallpaper, 2012). Nendo also designed the Camper store on Serrano street in Madrid.
Resuming your tour southward, Sao Paulo will hit you twice, with the first Camper stores in Brazil: The first one is located in the Iguatemi JK shopping mall, designed by Marko Brajovic who took his inspiration from the colours of Brazil’s popular street festivals for the design of this store. In the same city, the Campana brothers have broken down their particular style in the contemporary design on Oscar Freire street, mixing traditional textures with synthetic materials to display a surprising hybrid result of beauty and functionality.
We hope that you have enjoyed this tour around some of the most important openings of this year. On our part, we will continue to strive to make 2014 a year where you can keep walking alongside us.
