During the Camper winter convention Chris Nicholson (Skipper Volvo Ocean Race) and Roberto “Chuny” Bermudez De Castro (Driver/Trimmer Volvo Ocean Race) first stopped by the Camper store in Palma to pick out their favourite shoes. Later they took part of the convention to deliver the crew announcement as well as hosting the second leg of the Volvo Ocean Race trophy tour.
Needless to say, we are thrilled about the official launch of the Camper Campaign for the 2011-2012 Volvo Ocean Race!

A couple of weeks ago our Emirates Team New Zealand won the Louis Vuitton Trophy Dubai.
They defeated the USA´s BMW Oracle Racing in two straight races, and have won four out of five Louis Vuitton Trophy events in the last 2 years. This is something that we consider quite promising for the Volvo Ocean Race which is next years big adventure for both the team as well as for all of us at Camper.

One of the major shopping avenues in Barcelona is Paseo de Gracia and a second Camper store recently opened in this important shopping area. Perfectly located for both locals and tourists.
